ANIMAL (ænɪməl) 2023

Animal (2023) - barbarous and sanguineous, vengance and revenge by blood, violence hits the height of its intensity. Gore is the main attraction. It's a massacre everywhere. It's wild and wicked. The director returns with Animal, following the success of Arjun Reddy (2017) and Kabir Singh (2019), two movies about anger management difficulties. Despite his pessimistic and archaic perception of human nature, he yet desires for us to be in awe of his heroes and even to feel a sense of empathy and admiration for them. The eagerly anticipated Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has finally arrived, starring RK in a sinister, frightening, and insane role. The entire movie consists of a succession of scenes, feelings, and happenings building to a rather lacklustre finale that is shot so quickly that you find yourself wondering whether there will be more after the credits have rolled.

"Animal" had an opportunity to forge a new, psychologically informed direction, but its director seems more drawn to the idea of a franchise than to crafting a well-structured, cogent narrative. If a character is cocky, flawed, and troublesome and has a compelling enough cause to excuse, if not explain, the mayhem, then it is worth celebrating. What's stoking his inner wrath and fire? The conflict between the father and son, which is the main plot point, is not addressed. The picture is hindered by a confused plot, weak characters, and a lack of emotional impact among other characters despite having a great subject and a skilled ensemble. The protagonist of the movie claims that blood is thicker than water. Family safety and togetherness are sacred, regardless of how dysfunctional the relationships may be. It even seems to be promoting the idea that dysfunctional is preferable to broken. Godfather-style storyteller and filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, well-known for his provocative remarks and ideas, honors the alpha male once more in this 3 hours and 21 minute long narrative filled with severe slaughter, testosterone, and overt sexism.

The action thriller Animal has gory battle scenes. This is a film that will captivate and render you speechless! With a masterful blending of mass-market components, Sandeep Reddy Vanga creates the impression of a cult classic! There are so many thrilling and dramatic moments in the film that you won't mind waiting through certain drawn-out sequences that feel required to fully absorb the effect.

Animal, written, directed, and edited by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, sells a strident drama meant to elicit anguish along with an abundance of everything, including length, violence, love, obsession, and poison. The horrifyingly violent action drama between a father and son hardly ever stops. Animal is the type of movie that makes us think that it's okay for a devoted son to lose his mind over confronting people who endanger the safety of his father and his two sisters. Bravo for the movie's direction, screenplay, climax, and script.

As an Eduprenuer, this film gives great insights in knowing oneself as well as the other. Know thyself (Socrates) is a philosophical maxim quoted and analyzed by many over the centuries. It was cited as an analogue of 'tat tvam asi' (tat thou art), one of the sayings of ancient text from India (Bharat). It also had a significant part in the development of psychoanalysis, where it was seen as a directive to comprehend the unconscious mind (Sigmund Freud).

Psychologically riveting!!! (emopassio)

A must-watch if you want to unleash your inner animal.
